Another installation of a Polyclean Applicator (PCA) System at a mill in the United States.  In this case free flowing dust particles plus fiber and debris streaks on an early dryer were redistributing to the surface of the sheet causing defects and smoothness and printing issues that resulted in customer claims.  The PCA was installed just behind an existing doctor, where a thin film of Polyclean passivation agent was uniformly applied across the face through the patented Kevlar wick system running along the surface of the dryer.  No spraying and no moving parts.   The PCA has delivered significant benefits that include reduced dusting, improved felt cleanliness and reduced fiber accumulation on the dryer cans.
