JetMender
The JetMender™ is a stock activity generation system that is retrofitted onto an existing forming board structure.
The system is tailored to each machine application with the goal of fixing three major problems created by many headbox
jets: flocs, streaks, and sheet sealing.
The system works by forcing a large portion of the headbox jet back into the sheet, this opens up the bottom layer of
the sheet and re-mobilizes the fibers. The mobile stock slurry then encounters the MultiPulse™ foils which generate
microturbulence through high frequency acceleration of the wire, breaking up the flocs and streaks.
Finally, the stock travels over the large MultiPulse-HP™ foil blade, which amplifies the microturbulence and
transfers it to the rest of the fourdrinier table.
