Ceramic
Coldwater Ceramic elements are Full-Top ceramics manufactured in a composite assembly, mechanically locked and epoxy
bonded to a FRP base to match the thermal expansion of the ceramics and prevent piano keying.
AL-Oxide
Our 99.5% pure Al-Oxide is a great value. The 99.5% purity is higher than most competitive products,
typically 96%, producing a harder surface and longer life.
Silicon Nitride
Our SN-Nitride is superb for thermal shock resistance and has the lowest coefficient of
friction. SN provides the best fabric life of any ceramic used on a paper machine. More expensive than AL-Oxide
up front, but typically provides less expensive lifecycle costs with the improved clothing life.
Silicon Carbide
Our Silicon Carbide has the highest wear resistance for high speeds or abrasive environments.
We also offer grinding and repair services for all makes of ceramics.
Available in 99.5% pure AL-Oxide, Silicon Nitride, or Silicon Carbide for hydrofoils,
vacufoils, flat suction box covers and forming elements.
